Q3 2022 Performance of Top Music & Podcasts Apps on iOS in Europe

Europe's iOS users have shown consistent engagement with music and podcast applications throughout the third quarter of 2022. This article presents a succinct overview of the top apps' performance in the region, using data provided by Sensor Tower.

Spotify - Music and Podcasts maintained a strong presence with around 340k downloads and active users peaking at around 42 million by the end of September. The app's revenue trended upwards, finishing the quarter at around 176k.

Shazam: Music Discovery, an app known for its music identification capabilities, saw a slight decrease in downloads over the quarter, starting with around 181k and dipping to around 172k. The number of weekly active users also saw a gradual decline, ending at approximately 23 million.
